About Janice

 I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada. I received my Bachelor of  Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan before embarking on  various backpacking trips around the world. After 5 years of traveling, and 70 countries visited, I found myself back in university studying  education  with a focus on primary grades. I have 10 wonderful years of  classroom teaching experience under my belt working in grades 4 to 8  (years 5 to 9). 

I absolutely love working in the education sector because each day can be so different, exciting, and fun. I can teach all subject areas except for languages, and am currently working towards attaining my Teaching English as a Foreign Language course. I am also a sports enthusiast and I have coached volleyball, basketball and badminton for the last decade.

I enjoy making learning a fun and unique experience for each child and am so excited to work with students from all over the world here at High Achievement Academy.
